In continuation of my Despatch No. 181 of the Land. May, I have the no.our to inform you tast since the date of my last report seven men have suffered capital punismment in Chine for tis piracy, one has been sentenced to i.prisonment in China with hard labour for life, one has been sentenced in Hongkong to 10 years nard labour, and one the Boarding louse-keeper who harbour- -ed tae gule in Honkong was arrested under the Banisinent ordi-
-naice, was let out on bail of $500 and has disappeared.
